Carsten HohnkePrior to joining West Pole, Dr. Hohnke's professional home was Mars & Co., a strategy and management consultancy in New York City, NY. At Mars & Co. Dr. Hohnke contributed to the development of business strategies for Fortune 100 clients in the utility, media, beverage and restaurant industries. Dr. Hohnke was a post-doctoral researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Duke University, holds undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan, and a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Daniel GrodnerDaniel Grodner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Swarthmore College. Prior to joining the faculty at Swarthmore, Dr. Grodner was an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester and a postdoctoral researcher at Brown University. Dr. Grodner's research centers on human language processing with a focus on how people extract implicit information about context from written or spoken phrases. Dr. Grodner holds undergraduate and doctoral degrees in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Stephen JohnsonStephen Johnson is West Pole's senior software architect. Mr. Johnson has performed leading roles in developing e-commerce and network communication applications. In particular, Mr. Johnson was a lead contributor to West Pole's development of MOAI, the first comprehensive, internet-based mortgage loan origination system, and the first system to provide online rate-locking. Mr Johnson holds certifications in the Rational Unified Process, enterprise and application server administration, and database administration. |
